Maintenance workEarly in September a strand of the tenor rope at All Saints broke below the salley and a substitute had to be put on while the broken rope was spliced. The replacement rope also broke, but fortunately, the original rope had by now been repaired and was therefore put back. However as the lower end of the rope seems to be of poor quality a new rope has been ordered.
