Christopher Davidge RIPChristopher Davidge, husband of All Saints Churchwarden Jill Davidge, sadly died on 22nd December 2014 age 85. The following members of the Northampton Ringers Society took part: Bridget Paul 1, Jennie Paul 2, Alan Cozens 3, John Lindsay 4, Greg Jordan 5, Giles Willson 6, Graham Paul 7 and Colin Sampson 8. Changes to practice arrangements - February 2015.The bells of St Giles aren't available for the Town Centre practice on the third Wednesday in February, 18th, due to an Ash Wednesday service in the church. On that Wednesday the Town Centre practice will be at Holy Sepulchre, and the monthly practice at St Giles will now be a week earlier, on 11th February. Both practices will begin at 7pm for the Improvers followed by the general practice at 7.45pm. Christmas Day ringingIt is good to note that ringing took place before the main services at the three town centre churches where there were services on Christmas Day. Eight bells were rung at St Giles and All Saints, and six at Holy Sepulchre. Congratulations are due to Jennie Paul, Shirley Jones, Peter Craddock and Nick Parsons who rang at all of the churches. |
